A City Garden for a Growing Family
The clients were combining two flats into one elegant home, spanning the ground floor and basement. This complex layout had to accommodate outdoor dining, a cooking area, a light well and staircase, a balcony, and a compact garden dominated by a mature London plane tree.
Our response was a lush, textural garden planted for dry shade—layered with foliage that thrives in challenging conditions. We sourced a mix of antique and contemporary pots and furniture, keeping materials light and natural. Pale granite paving sets off the planting, creating a green bower: a cool, quiet sanctuary tucked away from the busy street beyond.
